Excellent experience with autostar transports

I was in a hurry to ship my 2008-honda civic from Los Angeles/California to College Station/Texas during
last week of October/2011. I did lot of search online and talked to representatives from many companies and
also received quotes from all of them. Telephone conversation with representatives were the most painful part
...everybody assumes that I have already agreed to their terms and conditions and asks for my credit card
number!! First of all I do not like their aggressive attitude and moreover I was not very comfortable with giving
my credit card information over the phone. Then I called Autostar transports (theirs was one of the best quote
I received) and talked to George Prestera. Once I told him my priority is to pick the vehicle at the earliest possible
date, he asked me to wait for few minutes so that he can check for availability of carriers. He returned a call
after few minutes with the good news that a carrier is available to pick up my car on the next day evening.
From there he explained the terms and conditions and methods to make the advance payment (using their
website, which i like) in just the way I wanted (not aggressive). I made the payment online, received the contract
form, signed and send it back. Few hours later George called me again with the details of the carrier's driver.
Due to heavy traffic in LA (something that is expectable, especially on a Friday evening), the carrier was few
hours late to pick up my car and since the carrier driver got sick in between (flu) my car day got delivered one
day after the expected date (but that was fine with me). I received two calls (one after shipping from California
and one after vehicle delivery at College Station) from autostar people to make sure everything went fine.
Just to mention, the carrier was from SGF trucking and the name of the driver was Sergio Al (he is a cool person).
I got my car in exactly the same shape (not even a new scracth!) as I shipped from Los Angeles.

Just to let you know, what George did for me was very amazing. Most of the companies out there will charge
you extra $100-250 for picking up your car on the very next day or within a given -24-hour window. In my case
I just payed the quoted normal rate (a total of $600, which includes the $175 advance) and I got my car delivered
in 4-days.....I am more than happy.......

Overall I am very satisfied in my experience with my autostar transports and I will definitely recommend their
service to anybody.
