Great Broker -OK Driver

I filled out on online form for transport quotes of my deceased father's vehicle from Connecticut to the Gulf Coast of Alabama. Immediately my phone starting ringing CONSTANTLY (auto dialed robo reps) and my email box filled up. I took many calls from the competing brokers who bothered to have a REAL LIVE person call. Several claimed that could get me door to door vehicle transport for under $700 - INCLUDING broker's fees, ONLY I had to pay broker's fees upfront with no guarantees. I did not enter into contract with any broker who demanded fees upfront without the transport arranged. However, I did actually contract with another company, who did list my vehicle without any upfront costs. Soon thereafter, Andrew called me with the same deal - no fees until the driver is committed. I told Andrew someone else was also trying to get the car moved for me. As the vehicle was at a family member's home, time was not of the essence. 5 days later Andrew called me to tell me hed had located a driver. Although AUTOSTAR's price was $200 dollars higher than others quoted, and then an aditional $45 at the time of booking - they actually succeeded in getting the car here quickly and in the same condition as it left Connecticut. I was amazed at the speed in which the vehicle arrived. However, the driver did not have the correct destination contact information and address, which turned into a small problem at drop off. He did not deliver the vehicle to my home and instead had us meet the truck at a local gas station. There was absolutely NO communication from AUTOSTAR or the driver after pick up until 2 hours before drop off. Good thing I had cash at home, as I didn't expect the car for several days. Overall - I would give AUTOSTAR 5 stars for the brokering of the deal, but NO stars for post pick up/pre drop off up follow up.

Dear Regina, Thank you for the review, It was a difficult journey plan and the driver could only arrange to meet your son after he finished work to pick up the vehicle, luckily our carrier could facilitate these request for you. At Autostar we always take these factors in to account when quoting prices hence our success rate and your vehicle being picked up and delivered in record time. I am sorry that the driver did not give you ample notice of his delivery time, this issue has been noted.
