I contracted with Auto Transporters Direct to move my Porsche from Naples Florida to Upstate New York. They had the contract for almost two weeks. I received no calls and no pick up. I even contacted them on several occasions and I was told nonchalantly to be patient. On my own as the days passed, I increased the price paid. On my own as the days passed, I changed the delivery city to Philadelphia hoping to find a city with more truck traffic. After 13 days I cancelled my order with ATD. I moved the car to a relative's house and flew home very disappointed.
Once I arrived home, I then contracted with G & L Enterprises for about the same price. Within one day they had interest in my job. Two days later it was on the truck from my relative's home. Asking a relative to accept this responsibilty was a true imposition. It was delivered to my office door five days later, as promised. These are the facts.
