Failed move

Yes - they get zero stars. I rely on reviews but don’t always leave them. In this case I feel obligated as who knows if the reviews here are real or not. I was lured to use this company under the pretense that they have their own trucks. I was assured it would only take a few days to get my truck, yet a week later they had nothing to tell me and my truck was posted on the “board” for an independent carrier. They also make you sign something for a deposit to get things moving which everyone else told me not to do. If you cancel, you lose that deposit. That I’m going to pursue with the regulators. On top of that, they have very uninformed people answering calls when u ask for an update. God forbid you call after 6 pm. You will get a woman on the phone who might as well be from China cause her phone connection is so bad you have to just hang up. That must be their way of not wanting to help people after east coast business hours. Every time I got a hold of the salesperson who suckered me into this, he said he would call back, and RARELY did I get a call back. I had to hound them every day. I was always told dispatch is working on it. This truck was an hour from a major city, so it’s not like it was off the grid. It is clear the company misrepresented their capabilities and if you are a half hour or more from a major highway, I doubt you will have much luck. I’ve never felt so out of control on something and at someone’s mercy before as I did with this. If you use this company, be prepared to be left in the cold. I was being charged a storage fee at the place holding the vehicle, and that made no difference, so not only do I have to pay that, fly out myself to drive it home, and incur all these additional expenses, but all I got was “sorry’. If the company is really family owned, then the owners have no clue what’s going on and it’s clear the customer is just a casualty...
