Customers Beware! Company is a FRAUD

I was in the process of relocating from CA to IL in early December, and researched and received quotes from about 20 different auto transport companies. I contacted Auto Transport 123 on December 1st and spoke with Amber who seemed very professional on the initial call and the quote that she initially provided seemed to be in the same ball park of the other quotes. I made it very clear that I was flying out of CA on 12/15/18, so it was imperative that my car be picked up between the 12th and 14th. She assured me this should not be a problem since I was booking it well in advance. So fast forward to the week of 12/10, I began to contact Amber to get an update stats on my order and to verify that I had an assigned carrier and driver, she refused to return any of my calls, for 4 days straight, i was repeatedly lied to by their customer service rep that Amber was working on my order and they were just waiting on the driver to sign the contract, which was a complete lie. Auto Transport basically low balled my quote and no driver was willing to accept it.I signed a contract for a total amount of 1100.00 for door to door delivery when in fact they had me listed on their national dashboard database as 1400.00 which is what I would have been required to pay the driver before he released my truck to me upon delivery. It was NOT until 12/13/18, when I sent an email to Amber advising that I was cancelling my order that she then decided to try and contact me which was completely unacceptable. She then had her boss Nick contact me to say that they had a driver which was a LIE and he could pick up my car the following day I politely declined, and advised that I froze my credit card that I used to book the reservation and would not be paying any 100.00 cancellation fee for a service that they could not provide. This company is a FRAUD and I would NOT recommend them to transport my dog, let alone my car. The customer service is HORRIBLE and they advertise false promises that they are not able to deliver on. They have a "F" rating with the BBB and they are known as shady with drivers which is why it was difficult to secure one for my route.

Dear Michelle, Upon further review of the complaint details we found that when you placed your order with Auto Transport 123 you were listed with multiple companies, and requested that we price match a competitor "DIY" - We did explain to you that it was not our suggested rate which could impact the pick up dates requested. By selecting a "price match" you request that we find you a driver at that rate. If we receive options - we call and update you on those options available. Unfortunately with "price matching" it is not a guaranteed, or a suggested rate of Auto Transport 123. You were not charged any cancellation fees, and dates were not guaranteed to you. If you wish to ship your Vehicle at our suggested rate, we'd be more than happy to assist. We are sorry we could not be of service, and again you have not been assessed any cancellation fees or charges what-so-ever. We wish you the best of luck with your relocation, and are sorry we could not be of service. Thank you, AT123
