In preparing for a lengthy trip to Hawaii, I called their rep numerous times to schedule dropping off my truck and trailer at the port in Seattle. We pushed the schedule back a few days for our own convenience, but only after they confirmed the new the delivery date multiple times. They said that they had confirmed with the shipper and that the new delivery schedule would still be before my scheduled arrival in Hilo 16 days later, so it would be there waiting for us. With that we finalized renting our house, and booking flights, etc.
They were wrong, and I only found out after my trip with my wife and 4 kids had already begun, that it would not arrive in Hilo for an additional 2 and half weeks. The shipper said they always knew the schedule, and it had not changed for any reason, but that the broker had misrepresented. After all that careful planning, I had to spend an additional $4000 on car rentals and accommodations that we would not have needed if our truck and camper were there as planned. If we needed to drop it off a few days earlier to make it all happen, we would have. Instead they said whatever they needed to to close the sale.
When I tried to approach them about it, their responses were slow and insufficient. They hid behind schedules being estimates, as if that was the reason for the delay, but it was not due to weather, traffic, seasons, or any other reasonable force. They just screwed up their schedule, by saying whatever they needed to, in order to get my money. They have not even given me the courtesy of a phone call to discuss it. All they seem to care about is taking money off my credit card. They said all the right things to build confidence, and I asked every single question I could think of to make sure they were not exactly what they turned out to be.
There are lots of brokers out there. Use someone else.

After further review of Client’s order, we made every attempt to accommodate the customer with his move. Customer placed his order in our office on 10/13/2017 to move from Washington to Hawaii. His initial drop date was suppose to be on 10/25/2017 but had to push the date out due to having a Cracked Windshield, it was explained to the Customer based on the shipping guidelines - Vehicles cannot have Cracks in the Windshield - We accomodated our Client by providing references for Windshield repairs in the Seattle, Washington area - as they were traveling from Canada. As of 11/29/2017 we have not received full payment on the order, we are also unable to control shipping line dates, and time frames - they are subject to change based on availability - and also on a first come, first serve basis. Commodities included a 2013 Ford F-150 and a 2009 Rockwood Signature Ultra Light - RV (Oversized) - the truck is estimated to arrive on 12/1/2017 and RV is estimated on 12/6/2017 as it is considered Oversized, and cannot go on a standard Autoframe Vessel but ro-ro due to the dimensions. Unfortunately at this time customer’s account is considered delinquent, and we would require payment as soon as possible. Happily servicing all International shipments to and from various Countries including but not limited to Hawaii, Nigeria, PR, etc - Professional International Logistics Coordinator - Casey M 1-888-885-9123 x 517 - Please call with any questions - Thank you! :)
