Poor Coordination, Communication and billing

Autotransport 123 promised a pick up of my POV on 23Dec13 and failed to ensure the transport company followed through. Three days later I was forced to miss my flight because Autotransport 123 failed to provide a transporter. On 26Dec13, Joe of Autotransport 123 asked me to drive to the airport and wait for someone to pick up the car. No one picked up the car. Joe subsequently asked me to drive the car to an address that turned out to be someone's private home. I was then asked to drive the car to a car wash and drive the car to a place where it would be loaded on to a transporter. The person that I turned my keys over to accidentally hit me on the head when he slammed the trunk door shut. After all of the stress, confusion and frustration I contacted Joe who offered me a deal of 1100 dollars- that's 500 less than the original contract. I accepted that. Much to my disappointment I noticed a billing for the 500 dollars on my credit card bill that after I contacted Joe to dispute was told it was a part of the original contracted price. Despite giving him an opportunity to credit my card I decided that based on his record of assistance I had better engage my credit card company and dispute the charge. As of 14Jan we are still in the process of sorting this all out. I am beyond disappointed. I had to ask my military unit to extend my leave for a day because Autotransport 123 failed to honor their commitment.

We would never ever offer a $500 discount or for that matter a 33% discount no one could afford that or would. This customer is trying to extort us. We have email proof where she states if she is not refunded $500 she will post this review. We will not be scammed by someone we have done honest business with. The credit card company has also denied her claim because she signed the contract for $1600 and that's exactly what we charged her. This is Clares 3rd time shipping with us and I don't think she used us again for bad service. We have done what we can to try and resolve the issue with the customer but her only terms are a $500 refund, not happening.
