Awful, just awful

Autotransport123 will tell you ANYTHING to get your business. The lies, deception, and dishonestly left me disgusted. Check the Better Business Bureau before you call them. I wish I had. If you want the gory details, keep reading. I signed with them on December 14th 2012 for a car transport from Mass to California. I was clear that the pickup day was important, as I was located in Europe and would be in Mass for only a few days. I was promised a pickup day of Dec 22nd, which is why I chose them over all other vendors that contacted me. The 22nd came and went with no call and no pickup. I called the 23rd and 24th and left messages. I also emailed. No response. I did not call on Christmas. I began calling and leaving messages on the 26th, and no call back. Finally, late in the day on the 26th I got through. I voiced my displeasure at the service and informed them that my transport review would not be a good one. I was screamed at and told "You are being recorded, if you bash my company I will sue". This was quite humorous, as I was only telling the truth. I was transferred to another person, who was calm and assured me that a pickup was immanent. Days passed and no pickup. So much time had passed that I had to change the pickup location, as I needed to get back to Europe. I called again 28th, and was told "right after the new year". Still no pickup. On January 3rd I called again and was told that "pickup of my Honda was any day now". The problem is I do not own a Honda! Then I was told "Oh, you have two vehicles with us". I did not, and the vehicle was an antique Chevy, not a Honda. I was also told "We have a driver, but we don't trust him and you should not use him". At this point I cancelled. I wasted three weeks with these people, and they never even had a driver identified. I would have been OK with the truth, that the 22nd was not viable, and that the holidays would cause scheduling problems. Instead I was lied to. I wil never use them again. Note that on January 7th I called a different vendor and the car was picked up the next day.

Richard you began this review by stating lies, deception yet did not mention 1 lie which was told to you? You are correct during the busy holiday season we did not schedule you a driver. While we dispatch at 99.7% there are times in which drivers are unavailable. As we informed you we were having issues with our network carrier so instead of putting your shipment in jeopardy we did allow you to cancel absolutely free of charge. You were in constant contact with our CS dept. as you stated in your review. If you would have been OK with the truth then there you have it exactly as we told you the entire time. We are not going to send a faulty carrier out to pick up a classical vehicle we treat our customer/cars with more respect and care than that.
