Just short of good

This is a completely honest review of this company. They got the job done to a satisfactory level but it wasn't quite a perfect experience. There was a little bit of a hiccup where the car was not picked up on the correct date within the window they promised me. When I called to find out what was happening I got frustrated with customer service and they got really defensive and tried to tell me that I was wrong about being promised the date that they originally agreed to and said that nobody would ever promise me those dates. They could have definitely handled that situation better. I got the impression that at this point they didn't care because they already had my money and I had no other choice but to go with them.

They picked up the car 3 days later. The carrier they used (U.S. Ark was the carrier, it wasn't actually them delivering the vehicle) would not accept any payment other than cash. I convinced the customer service rep at U.S. Ark to take a money order, but when the driver showed up, he was really mad that it wasn't cash and said he would be putting in a complaint about the customer service rep I spoke with.

On a positive note, the price was fair compared to the quotes I got from other companies. Even though the car was picked up late, it was delivered on time and with no damage (it was really dirty though). One of the reps (Mechalia) was very professional and helpful, she even called me back on a holiday. They were never hard to get in touch with. Even the rep that got upset with me due to my level of frustration eventually relaxed and helped me sort everything out once I came to terms with the fact there is nothing anybody can do to make my car get picked up on time. Overall, I think this is actually a somewhat positive experience considering what the other companies are like.

Also, I should mention that they asked me to come to this site and put this review and make sure that it is 5 stars in order to enter a raffle to receive some money back. I gladly agreed to put the review, however upon stating that a 5 star review would be dishonest due to the experience I had with the company, I was told I don't qualify for the raffle. Only 5 star reviews (even if dishonest) qualify the customer to get their money back. They also explicitly asked me to not check the button at the bottom that says "I expect to be compensated for this review" despite offering me money via a raffle.
