Had a glitch, but was exceptionally handled. I am happy

I had my car shipped a few days back from Dallas to Seattle (May 2012) through Auto Transport 123. The car was picked up and delivered on time. But I had a bad experience during the delivery.
When I brought to notice this incident with AT 123, it was handled very professionally.

Here is a gist of what happened and how it was handled.

AT123 is a door to door car pick up and drop off transport provider. My car was dropped off at a location close to my destination but not exactly at the destination. My wife who doesn't know driving was supposed to have collected the delivery of the car. The driver not only refused to park the car at the destination and but also made fun of my wife for not knowing how to drive which was totally inappropriate and unnecessary. I had to go through some trouble to get the car to the destination by sitting here in Dallas.

I immediately wrote an email to AT 123 about this incident explaining what my wife and I went through and also requesting to take appropriate action.

I should say that the who matter was very professionally handled! Kudos to that. I got an email early in the morning from Keith, the owner of AT 123 apologizing for the incident and also was very eager to talk to me and do anything to make it better. When I talked to him, he not only apologized a zillion times for the incident but also took an action to cut all business relationship with the trucking company that did my transport. He went further and offered a free gas tank fill or dinner coupon or AT 123 gift certificate to make me feel better. He also sent an email to my wife explaining how sorry AT 123 was they understood what she went through.

Looking at all this, my assumption that AT 123 is a family owned service is reaffirmed. I would be happy to refer and go for AT 123 for my transportation needs in future.
