This is one of many brokers out there who offer and promise excellent service, yet have no clue when and if your car will ever be picked up.Explaining in great detail that this was a classic restored car sitting in the driveway of the previous owner,I wanted it picked up within a 7 day time frame. After reassuring me this was no problem,we used a Visa credit card and made the required deposit of $195.00. After 10 days of silence we inquired on the progress only to hear."I still have no driver and none scheduled. We elected to go after the car ourselves and cancelled the order. Now these fine people want to keep $125.00 of our money for cancellation fees . We have no support from Visa and it looks like they are going to charge back $125.00 to us and let these con artist rip us off. There are companies out there that will not require one dime until the driver is loading your vehicle. This I believe seperates the good companies from clowns who sit in some little cubicle selling nothing more than Bull S. They will simply take your informatiom ,post it on a central dispatch board for drivers to pick and choose, and hope to make a connection between you and a transport company. And for that they want $125.00.Please don't fall for this trap !

Gary, Although I can certainly appreciate your situation and the frustration you experienced by our not being able to move your vehicle in a timely manner, I feel it necessary to clarify a few points mentioned in your complaint. Every file we have on our clients has time and date stamps that cannot be altered by anyone. This being said, you're statement that you heard nothing from anyone here at ASN for ten days is inaccurate, as I personally spoke with both you and Paul several times over the course of your estimated pick up window to inform you of the difficulties we were experiencing with your move from Tennessee to Kansas. Also only 9 days passed from the time you signed a contract for service with ASN (8/3/2011) to the time you cancelled (8/11/2011), 5 of those days being beyond your estimated window. As far as the $125.00 listing fee is concerned (and that is clearly stated in the contract for service you signed), this is a business and unfortunately we do need to charge our clients for the work we perform. It is true that some brokers do not charge you until a driver is found, we, however, do at the time the contract is agreed upon by both parties. Yes, we do post all of the vehicles we move on the Central Dispatch load board to assist us in locating drivers, as this is the system used primarily within the auto shipping industry. In addition however, we actively contact our preferred carriers- transport companies with whom we have built successful, professional relationships. Again, unfortunately we were not successful in locating one in a timely manner for you. Finally, although we were not able to secure a driver in a timely manner, we did everything we could reasonably do to expedite your service and kept you informed as to the situation and did not charge you for anything more than the work you contractually agreed for us to perform or in your case, attempt to perform. I always appreciate constructive criticisms and critiques of our company, as long as the claims made are accurate and not exaggerated.... Have a great day!
