Thomas Elliott at Auto Shipping Group arranged transport for my Polaris Slingshot from Oregon to New Jersey. It ended up costing a little more than what he originally quoted me. Two things keep me from giving 5 stars. First, when he originally found a carrier for me he quoted me one price, but then realized he "got my order mixed up with another order" and the carrier wanted $210 more. It's an unusual vehicle (reverse trike - 3 wheeled motorcycle) so it's hard to imagine how he got me mixed up with someone else. But I was understanding that this type of vehicle might create some difficulties loading/unloading, so I was fine paying a little more than the original quote. I agreed and he was to going to set everything up. The second reason I cannot give two stars is that after that I never heard back from him. He did not respond to my text when I tried to find out where things were at (to be fair I only texted him once).
So after another week and I am back home and the vehicle is still at my Brother's house, I am seriously contemplating using a different broker. Instead I called Tom back and he set everything up for me fairly quickly and at a reasonable price. From that point on all communication was directly with the shipper: IKA Group based in NE Philadelphia. They did a good job, and even had to get a tow truck out to my brother's house in order to load it, which they did not try to charge me extra for. Because of these issues with the 3rd rear wheel in the middle, I agreed to pick it up from their yard, even though the contract was for door to door. The owner drove to my house the next day to get me (~40 min drive), which was 1 day later than the estimated delivery date (they unloaded it at their yard late the night before). It was dirty but that was to be expected in an open carrier. I found no damage.
All in all I am pretty pleased with the entire process, especially when factoring in that this is neither car nor motorcycle.

Thomas Elliott tom@autoshippinggroup.com for a solid quote call/text (360) 284-7185 Gabe first i want to apologize for any miscommunication that may have happened you were very hard to reach during the whole process. Second the fact it was a very "different" kind of vehicle (3 wheeled reverse trike) caused the price to go up. Third its a quote not a guaranteed price, quotes can go up. Fourth i did get you mixed up with another Gabe i was working with at the time had nothing to do with vehicles and I'm sorry for that.
