HORRIBLE COMPANY!

I think everyone's story is similar to mines. I was quoted for transporting a 2010 Acura TSX from Massachusetts to California for $995 with $100 deposit and $895 due at drop-off. I called and spoke to the only person there, Rachel. She told me that the car would get picked up on June 18th or 19th and would approximately take about 7-10 days making there before my husband's start date of work July 1st..My husband had to call and change the pickup date to the 20th because of Father's day on the 19th and we were away. Rachel said that's not a problem. She told us that a driver will call 24 hours in advance to let us know when they will be arriving..We had our stuff shipped and bought one way tickets to California for June 27th (our move in date)..
June 19th we did not get any phone call from the driver so we called Rachel. No answer on the phone, left messages..we also emailed..no reply. After several attempts in the morning, by afternoon Rachel answered. She said don't worry the driver should be in contact and she is going to call him. Put us on hold for 5 minutes and she said that she will call him..she said she had called him twice and he didnt answer so she left a message. She said that He might be loading cars or driving but he will call...June 20th went by..no call....June 22st went by...no call....so we called Rachel and she said The driver should of called already, she left voicemail for him..yada yada yada..at this point we knew that we got played. June 23rd we finally got a call from a driver and was given a quote of $1095..we told him that Rachel gave us the quote of $995 and not $1095 but at this point its either go for it or drive 3,000 miles..so we told him to take the car. The driver said that he will try to make it by July 2nd or Sunday July 3rd. At this point we had no choice. We arrived in California and had to rent a car because our car is going to be late and my husband needs to go to work. The car rental cost us about $360 for 4 days. The driver called us on Friday July 1st and the car arrived. Had to pay $1095 or car won't be released. He also said to take it up with Rachel with any price difference...At this point we know that we're not going to get our money back or reimbursed for the car rental..I will never go with AUTOPLANET TRANSPORT EVER AGAIN AND ADVISE PEOPLE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Rachel is a liar, cheat, and does not know crap about good business.
