When Wolfgang first contacted me, he seemed sympathetic to my situation (I had already been screwed by A1 Auto Logistics). He gave me a quote and said he would get in touch with some carriers and call me back. I had not signed any paperwork or agreed to do business with him at this point. Needless to say, Wolfgang didn't call me back so I decided to continue my search for a broker. As I was getting quotes from other companies, a few of them stated that Atlas had already posted my information on the central dispatch for $200 less than he quoted me. From what I understand, that is extremely high of a percentage for the broker to keep for himself. Once I realized that Atlas had no right to post my information out to the industry without my consent (it is illegal for them to do so) I immediately emailed Wolfgang and told him that I did not want to do business with them and to please delete my information from their records since the carriers were seeing my vehicle listed as available for pickup under his company! Never got a response. A couple of days later Wolfgang called me and asked for delivery address information and a $200 deposit as if nothing had happened. I said I was not going to pay anything without having a pickup date and also I asked him if he ever got my email. He said no and i then began to tell him that I never hired him and I was upset that he posted my information to the industry without my consent. He said there are a couple of other companies named Atlas and started to get ugly and angry with me over the phone. I told him I had only spoken to a few companies and he definitely was the only Atlas Co that I spoke to. He still denied it and then when he realized I knew more about the industry than he thought he said " You're crazy man, I aint even messing with you" and hung up the phone. I have cleaned up the language for this review, but he used multiple swear words within that statement. Need I say more? This guy is scum and a fraud.
