i recently used Around the Globe to ship my truck to hawaii. i made the reservation in july and had to cancel it in early august because the job situation changed and i didnt need to ship my truck. when i canceled the people were more than helpful and told me that i was going to recieve a refund on my purchase. thats when the problem occured. the refund never happened and a month later, in october, i realized that i never got my money back. i called them and they were helpful enough and told me that the billing department would get in touch with me in a couple hours. it never happened. i called back 3 more times and was told the same thing, yet, no call from the billing department. 1 month later after repeated calls and geting nowhere i got assertive and told them that i have to speak with a rep from the billing dept right now. after a 5 min hold someone talked to me and gave me the details. supposively they changed parts of their billing process. it took 2 minutes to tell me that i have to get in touch with master card and they would refund the money. 2 minutes to tell me that and it took 2 months of constant calling. what a crock. im sure that their shipping may be reasonable but their customer service sucks. i will never use them in the future.
