Bad Shipping company

I had a bad experience with this company. They grossly over-promised and under-delivered. They were also dishonest as they charged my credit card more than was agreed to and pretended it was a mistake when I asked for a refund.
I had contacted them for auto shipping from Southern CA to the Bay Area in Northern CA. They told me the car was scheduled for pick up July 1st, to be delivered next day. They disappointed. Then, they promised next day AM, then PM, until the weekend came without any pick-up. When I wanted to cancel on Monday July 5th, they told me they have a truck to pick the car that same day, so I decided to give them another chance, but that was not to be. Then they called to say it would be July 6th, but by the time they sent the confirmation email, I noticed that it was scheduled for pick up July 7th (I had signed with them because they promised to pick-up July 1st and deliver 2nd. I needed the car 'on-time' very badly).

Realizing that they were just moving the goal post whenever the ball comes near, I called to cancel. The lady (Sarah) told me that they would refund my money, but they did not do so for another two weeks despite repeated calls.

Last time I called, they again agreed to refund, but not all of my deposit. They tried to blame me for canceling after they had scheduled a pick-up, but their pick-up date was not the date they promised me before I allowed them to schedule it.

The worst part was that after charging my card a deposit of $175 (We agreed to $125), they tried to claim that they only charged $125, but fortunately for me, my credit card bill had arrived and I pointed out to her that I have my card bill right in front of me before she admitted that they over-charged and claimed it was a mistake. Wow!

(By the way, I managed to get the car down to the Bay Area July 5th through other means)

This review is far from the truth and entertaining to read. Mr. Omotayo forgets to include that our office did refund his scheduling fee. He booked this order to be picked up on the 4th of July holiday weekend. We informed him that we could not guarantee a pick up of that weekend, however we did have a carrier that wanted to pick up the car on July 5th. That was not good enough for Mr. Omotayo. This clearly was a customer who was eager to get a car he bought online, regardless of how the shipping industry works and wanted to tell us how to do our jobs. There was no grossly over promising, I personaly booked this order and made it clear to this man that we would do our best, however there would be no guarantees due to the holiday. Our office never promises to pick up and deliver on certain days, thats like promising some one they will win the Lotto! Mr. Omotayo, I hope you are reading this response...........you were not fun to deal with at all.
