I think compensated reviews are worthless. Angel's doesn't even offer compensation for reviews.
I know a little about the transportaion industry and I could tell right off that Dina knows what she's doing. She told me straight up what to expect and I appreciate that type of approach. I got numerous qoutes from other companies and promises of next day pick up and 4 day cross country service .. Baloney! Maybe in a perfect world but it usually doesn't work like that. I got cheaper quotes and I got more expensive quotes but in the end I chose Angel's because of Dina's honesty and no nonsense approach.
Angel's called me and provided details when the carrier was assigned and when the car was picked up. Since I had bought the car over the internet I called and ask the carrier to "go over the car with a fine tooth comb". He said they always did that and believe me he did! He noted every single tiny blemish (although there weren't that many). There was no damage to my car during transport.
The car was picked up near the end of the "pick up window" but it was on time. Delivery was a little later than the carrier estimated but still in the delivery window time frame. The delay was not the fault of the carrier.
Dina said that they only work with carriers they know and trust. I can tell you that the carrier they assigned to move my car was honest and an absolute fanatic about taking extraordinary measures to avoid any damage to the cars he transports.
Bottom line is that almost all of these "auto moving companies" are brokers and are only as good as the truckers that they contract with. That's why Angel's only works with a select group and avoids the rest.
I would use Angel's again.
