Angels Transport is a nice company that delivers great customer service BUT the carriers that they subcontract to are another story. I contacted Angels about 2 months prior to the move. A few days prior to our pick-up date, we were informed that we would have to accept an earlier drop-off date/time than expected. I would not be allowed be there at the drop-off time due to a military assignment. I did not like that, but I had no other choice at the last minute crunch.
Our cars were scrutinized by the pick-up driver (ARROW AUTO TRANSPORT). All scracthes and dings were noted (photos were taken prior to that). Our destination point neighbor offered to accept the cars on our behalf. On the night of delivery, our neighbor received a call asking him to come to a poorly lit parking lot about 8 miles from our house. It was 11 PM. That should be reason to question the driver's intentions, but our kind neighbor wanted to help. The cars were taken custody of and a large scuff was noted by our neighbor, but was told by the driver that I would be able to settle a claim later.
Bottom line: Unable to settle a claim with the driver, his insurance company, or Angles because I did not arrive from my military exercise until after the window of opportunity to file a claim. The scuff would have been cheaper to settle than to extend the agony of paperwork/photos for a claim. BE WEARY OF ANY SUBCONTRACTORS. ARROW HAS HORRIBLE REVIEWS. SHAME ON ANGELS FOR SUBCONTRACTING WITH THEM.
