Just a little disappointed

Unlike other companies I spoke with, I was impressed with the representative who booked my shipment. She was straightforward and made few promises. She let me know that challenges we were up against in timing of pickup and worked with me to resolve them. The quoted price needed adjustment, but I found this reasonable.

The driver picked up on time but delivered a little late, partially due to weather and partially due to the fact that my vehicle was the first one on the truck - and logically the last to go off.

The location of the vehicle (top level, front) on the truck left it open to permanent scratching, presumably caused by low-hanging branches the driver encountered somewhere. Unfortunately, the recipient didn't make note of the damage upon receipt. Hours later, the damage was noticed by the detailer and reported to Angels by the recipient and I. Photos taken while the vehicle was still on the carrier confirmed the damage did not occur after it came off the carrier.

Sadly, according to Angels, because the damage was not noted on the Bill of Lading, there was nothing that could be done about it. Paint is missing and because the vehicle has a pearlized finish, the whole rear quarter panel needs repainting. The scratches could not be buffed out.

A good lesson in the need to be thorough with inspections and the danger of allowing a vehicle to occupy the top, front spot on a carrier. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth after a relatively good first experience with this company.
