we have used american auto transporters before. however, you never know how good or bad a company is until there is a problem...and this company failed miserably. i called the day the car was suppose to be delivered and was told the transporter was stuck with a hydrolic problem in virginia and that parts were ordered and they had no idea when it was going to be fixed. but they promised to call back with more information. Next day, still no info as they were waiting for the driver to get back to them...finally, they decided to send another trailor to pick up the cars but had no idea when it would be arriving. Next, we called the driver (the office was useless and the president, nick hunter, never returned any of our calls)...the trailer had 4 tires blow out in Georgia...so more delays and no help whatsoever from American Transport...We had to rent a car...added expense...finally the car arrived after 11 days on the road. We still have not heard from the company...they couldn't care less...

We apologize for the delay. Every customer shipping a vehicle is given a estimated time frame after pick up of 4-6 days. We say estimated because there are sometimes but rarely circumstances such as this that can ocurr and cause delay of a car transport. As for statement of lack of communication I disagree. This customer was extremely persistent after just speaking to her and stating we would call back with an update once we heard from driver. She did not give AAT the opportunity to provide updated schedule. If you feel American Auto truly did not have communication with you we would be more than glad to address this issue with you to find a resolution. Please contact us.
