First off, I’d like to begin my review by saying that this is my first time to use American Auto Transports. This was initially recommended by a family friend who has used their service in another state on a previous occasion. I mentioned to her that I wanted to send my daughter a graduation gift – her first car, which she has been begging for forever. I was a bit hesitant to use the service at first because although the car as not a Porsche, it wasn't cheap either. I was having doubts about whether or not I can entrust the safety of the gift to strangers, but it was necessary at that time and so trusting my friend’s recommendation, I went ahead with the company.

I scheduled a pickup with them (Order Number 9214444). The salesperson, Paul, was quite courteous. I asked him a number of questions since as I mentioned, it was my first time. He answered my questions politely and professionally. It seems that the people at American Auto Transports really know what they are doing. The manner in which the scheduling process was done alleviate my concerns a bit and it was good.

While the price is not the cheapest I have seen when I looked up for quotations online, it was fairly competitive. While I am not demeaning the service offered for a cheaper price by other companies, in my experience, just because something is cheap doesn't mean it is good service. For that particular transaction in which I scheduled to deliver the car from Utah to Vermont, I was changed for $800.

Per schedule, the car was supposed to be picked-up on Monday at around 2 PM. I was very pleased when I received the call from the truck driver to verify the pick-up. He arrived on time and went ahead to check the car. I also asked him some additional questions that I had and he answered them politely. I was also pleased to see that he took his time to make sure the car wouldn't be damaged or scratched during transport.

Now all I had to do was wait. I was given a time frame in which I can expect the car to arrive in Vermont and I wanted to see if they could follow their ETA schedule. Not surprisingly, they were able to follow their schedule. My daughter’s gift arrived on time and she called to let me know that it was delivered to her the way it left my place – without damage and scratch.

This whole experience I've had with American Auto Transports has been very pleasant. I will not hesitate to use them again should the need arise.
