Decided to go with this company because salesman, Andy, told me they have their own drivers. I was taking over the lease of a beautiful Mercedes and receiving this car in the same condition it lef the seller was very important to me.
I find out that Andy lied to me. A man named Mike Vorozhstov who owns the company MVG Transporting System, Inc had my car. He shows up at my door without a transport. He DROVE my car to my home from where he parked his transport 14 miles from my home! The car is scratched up significantly on both the front and back bumper and he does not have the Bill of Landing paperwork. I told him I'm not paying for anything until I have the paperwork. He proceeds to take my car back another 14 miles to his transport. I wait there 15 minutes and he can't find the Bill of Landing. I leave to go to an appointment. This driver calls me angerly saying he now has the paperwork and if I don't come back he's going to put my car in storage. Now, to be clear it states on the website for American Auto Transport that this is door to door delivery. This driver was driving my car! I call "customer service" Andy and his only comment is call the authorities. What would I say? Again, Andy's website states that if there is damage they will basically work with you to make it right. When waiting 15 minutes for the driver Mike to find the paperwork I took pictures of the damage and sent the pictures to Andy. I had the proof I needed. At least I thought. I call this driver back as soon as I get out of my appointment and he has left. I ask if the following day would work and he is dismissive and basically tells me maybe. Finally the next day he calls me at 7:30 PM. He says I will meet with him right then or he is taking my car back to New York. I can't believe this. I'm a single father and am calling family members frantically to try to get someone over to watch my daughter while I deal with this. The driver Mike shows up with the paperwork. In the area that is where we as the buyer are able to write if there is any damage he has in bold letters NO DAMAGE FROM TRANSPORT. It clearly states on that form that the area he wrote in was for the buyer to write in. He says if I don't sign the form he is taking my car back to New York. What choice did I have....
All along I was working with this customer service man Steve. The man did absolutely nothing to help me. Telling me to call the autorities. And, tell them what?
Do not work with this company. They lied to make the sale about having their own drivers. They were affiliated with Mike Vorozhstov. Customer Service Steve had no answer on how Mike should be forced to compensate for that. Was he joy riding in my car? I have no idea. Then, when sending pictures on the damage I had not choice to sign the form because the guy threatened to take my car back to New York. Who knows what that loose cannon would have done to my car. He had a partner with him and honestly, and this is scary, I feared for my safety around that man.
I hope my honesty and thoroughness make scratching this company off of the potential option list easy for you. Don't make the same mistake I did. If you have any questions please reach out to me.
