I recently moved from Florida to California and secured the services of ALLSTAR TRANSPORTERS, a Florida corporation, for the transport of my 2014 Honda. Their fee was all inclusive and extremely reasonable, and they offered outstanding terms upon contract including: door to door service, five point inspection upon pick-up and delivery, full insurance coverage with no deductible, and personalized care throughout the move. In today's ultra competitive market, a vendor who lives up to the terms of his contract without argument is a true rarity. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised when Jake Pena, Director of Operations for ALLSTAR TRANSORTORS did just that.

The vehicle was picked up at my home in Boca Raton, Florida, on schedule and was carefully placed onto a truck for transport to a Miami Terminal, where it was to be transferred onto a train for itÕs long journey to Calabsasas, CA. Once the car was in Miami, it then became the responsibility of CFR Rinkens, a California LLC, specializing in long distance transport of vehicles. I had been told to expect a call to set delivery time in seven to ten days. On the eighth day, a Monday, the call came in. This juncture, unfortunately, was the start of a few rough days.

The driver wanted to deliver the car that same day; however, I told him I would not be available to accept delivery until Wednesday. The car was brought to my new home Wednesday, although the condition was far from pretty. It was spotted - not just rain spots, but the kind of spots one would expect to see if their car was parked outside a chemical plant. The inside was encrusted with mud in some places near and about the driver's area, including a muddy-footprinted towel on the floor by the pedals. Trying to look through the windows was a fool's errand. It was obvious the vehicle had not been kept in an enclosed area, but rather in a mucky outside arena. The delivery driver informed me the car had, indeed, been parked outdoors, in a 'lot' since Monday. When contacted by phone, a principal of CFR, Joe, denied this, swore the car was 'in a warehouse', and when questioned about the unsightly condition, said, 'It must have been that way when it was picked up.' After a long holding period, he transferred me to a claims rep, Norma, who (a) informed me CFR assumed no liability for condition upon delivery, and (b) it would take two to three days to open a claim. Tomorrow is a week since delivery and I've heard from no one.

CFR wanted to deliver the car at their convenience, not mine, although the date was set for the 11th at my very first communication with them. It is quite obvious CFR places no value on customer satisfaction, but rather operates their business how they want with their convenience being to their organization. Had I taken delivery upon their first call, I do not know what condition the car would have been in.

Yesterday, I contacted Jake, at ALLSTAR, told him my tale of woe, and emailed a few pictures to him. I told him I in no way faulted ALLSTAR for this, cut rather CFR. Today I got a call from him apologizing for the shoddy service provided by CFR and offering to pay for full detailing of my car. Although in business many years, he was overtly shocked to learn the ways of CFR and their grossly unethical operating procedure. He has relayed this issue to his corporate office and I feel confident CFR will see a reduction in jobs, if any, coming from ALLSTAR. Hopefully, any local transporter looking for a long distance transporter, will steer clear CFR Rinkens.

Jake exhibited true professionalism in dealing with an unhappy client as well as the vehicle's unsightly condition. He spoke his apologies and offered resolution without amy prompts or hesitation. He is a gentleman representing an honest, reliable, company. Not only would I entrust him with my personal property, but I would highly recommend ALLSTAR to anyone looking to transport a vehicle nationwide.
