I basically picked Allen Auto Transport because they didn't have negative reviews on this website nor on ripoffreport.com. I was quoted $800 to have my Honda Accord transported from Illinois to California, which is a pretty good rate. Other quotes I got was ranging from $780 to over $1100. My first choice was AutoTrans Express which is owned by Fed-Ex eventhough they quoted $865 for the move. I figured Fed-Ex had already built a "good" reputation. The reason I didn't go with them is because they didn't bother with answering my questions through email. Anyway, Allen Auto Transported used another company called Triple T. Trucking, Inc. to transport my car (I dont' know if they're the same company). And it took them exactly one week to have the car delivered. I contacted each of these companies once to get update on the location of the car and status of the delivery and received courteous assistance and quick replies. The car was delivered without any damages. The driver (Mr. G Woolsey) contacted me two hours prior to delivering the car to let me know that he's coming. He was also courteous and waited patiently while I inspected my car. Over all, the experience was very positive. I gave them 4 out of 5 stars because I always reserve the last star in all my ratings for something really extraordinary. Now, my only regret is that I forgot to give Mr. Woolsey some gratuity for taking good care of my car. So, thank you, Mr. Woolsey.
