I would like to share this terrible experience with Allegiance Auto Shipping so people will exercise caution when choosing Allegiance Auto Shipping.

My daughter found the company online, and felt this might be a reliable company for having our car shipped from her from Boston, MA, to Duke University, NC. She counted on using the car for her transportation attending her LSAT out of campus classes during the summer. She needs the car on August 5th.

Here is what my daughter wrote to the company:
"On July 19th, with no further contact or arrangements we began to worry, so we emailed you back with no response. However, on July 21st, I received an order receipt claiming that the first available pick up was July 27th. During the following days we attempted multiple times to contact you via telephone and email - again, with no responses. On August 3rd, I called again this time, highly doubting the impending agreed deadline of August 5th and spoke with “Annie” (ext 109) who did not reassure my doubts. At this point, Annie still claimed that Allegiance Auto Shipping might be able to ship my car in time. When that did not occur, I was redirected to a supervisor named “Carol” who has not once returned my daily calls and emails for several weeks, despite knowing of my deep dissatisfaction with the company and my wish to recover my deposit......"

The result was that we could not be able to hear any confirmation on pickup during scheduled pick up time, we only got one response from customer service that "we can not find a driver at this time". No matter how we explain to customer service rep that we would be leaving out of town on Aug 3rd, and our daughter will depend on using the car for attending classes starting August 5th, no any services or advices were provided to take care the matter. We were very disappointed and dissatisfied with services and inresponsive customer care Allgniance provided.

We had been patient and were expecting a call from Allegiance everyday, during that period, for a pickup confirmation, as we hesitated to call a cancellation as we had hope not to need to, it would require more time to redo with another company that may cause further delay.

Unfortunately we did not get any confirmation before our leave on Aug 3rd, We leave no choice but called our friends for help. Believe or not, our friends found another company that promised to pick up the car within a week, and they did, and they picked up on 8/10, and delivered the car to my daughter on 8/11. All that has took within 7 days, at a regular service and charge. I am glad not all car shipping company is doing business like Allgiance Auto Shipping.

Allegiance's not being able to find a drive and meet what we need inevitably resulted in my daughter's having to use taxi services from 8/5 to 8/11, let alone many calls, concerns, and time spent with their customer services. They was not able to take care of the business, and they called my daughter on 8/12 for finally getting a drive, they completely missed the boat!

Our outstanding record speaks for itself. Angie Guo, the person who wrote this review, is not actually a customer of ours. Mrs. Sheena Wang, Angie`s daughter is our customer. When she placed her order, Mrs. Wang chose stand by service, which does have a pick up window. This type of service, which is usually chosen when wanting to save money, does not guarantee any pick up or delivery dates, as stated in the contract signed by Mrs. Wang. We did everything possible to assist our customer with her needs. We did in fact dispatch her a driver within her pick up window, however she chose to use another carrier without informing us of the change. We do wish Mrs. Sheena Wang the best of luck.
