Lied to get the sale. Completely rude when they could not accommodate the sale.

On 3/4/11, I spoke with Ginger Corriveau at All USA Moving Services. I told her I would like my car shipped on Friday, 3/25/11. I told her I would not be able to have the car picked up on any other day because I work in Canada; therefore, I am gone from Sunday afternoon to Thursday evenings. She stated this would not be a problem and that she could accommodate my request. If this request could not have been accommodated, I would have gone to another company.

On Friday, 3/25/11, I contacted Ginger to let her know I had not received a call from the driver. She did not return my calls or emails. Eventually I reached Jeff Jennings. I explained the situation to Jeff and he told me he could not accommodate my request at this time and that I had to be flexible. I told him the only reason I used his company was that I was unable to be flexible. He repeated himself many times, rudely, “YOU have to be flexible”. Then he asked if I had someone else who could be available to meet the driver on Monday, 3/28/11, the next day a driver would be available. I told him I did not and he asked me, “what are you a HERMIT?” At this point, I asked to speak to his manager and he told me he was the owner of the company.

Jeff also stated that it would be difficult to get a driver to take my car to its destination in Westport, MA. Perhaps this would have been something Ginger should have told me when I booked my car shipment.

I could not believe the rudeness and unprofessionalism of Jeff. I was so upset so I got off the phone to figure out if I had any other options.

I found the name of the President of the company, Avner Dori, and asked to speak to him.
They would not allow me to speak to the president but said Jeff would call me back. In the meantime, I went to speak with the valet in my building and they said they would let the driver come take my car if I left explicit directions. When Jeff returned my call, I told him that the driver would have to get the car from the valet in my building because I would be in Canada. We agreed on this arrangement, as I had no other options. It seemed as though, Jeff was a little more “flexible” when he heard I had planned to contact the president of the company.

At this time, I have yet to hear from Ginger. My car has not been picked up and I am still very upset at how rudely I was treated when this company made me a promise they could not keep.

I will be contacting the president of All USA Moving Services by mail as I cannot reach him by phone. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau and I will be completing an online survey at www.transportreviews.com which will hopefully be read by anyone looking to transport their vehicle.

The only redeeming person at the company was a man in customer service named Tom Henderson. He seemed like he legitimately cared and eventually found me a driver. My car was finally picked up on 3/31/11 but I had to pay the driver an extra $75 in cash for him to pick up my car.

Hi Stephanie, We NEVER lie to get the sale! Ginger told you what the dispatcher told her. The dispatcher told her what the carrier driver told him. Unfortunately unforeseen delays can happen. No company is immune. We were honest with you and gave you the best information we had at the time. You would have had the same result no matter which broker you used. We are very sorry for the unacceptable rudeness and that situation has been corrected! To clarify, your vehicle was delivered on time although in the body of the review you wrote you had not received it yet.
