Booked two cars for shipping with All Day Auto Transport and finally gave up waiting for a driver to schedule pickup and had to cancel. Because they "put it up on the board", although Jenna told me I'd receive a full refund if I cancelled before the driver was scheduled, they held back $90 from my refund. After repeated phone calls and requests, finally a threat to leave a bad review resulted in the full refund.

Note to future customers: I read all the reviews and decided that all the negative reviews were from stupid people. I asked Jenna about all the issues that I saw repeated throughout the negative reviews and tried to educate myself on how the industry works. I felt after booking like I understood it and felt comfortable with the process. A few surprises came up that caused the whole thing to blow up and I don't know what could have been done on either end to avoid them. First, I was under the impression that a driver would pick my cars up on the day we scheduled. I was not told and did not understand the extreme flexibility in scheduling. I wonder if someone would have picked up my cars if I'd paid more, or been traveling between two major cities, or if the cars had been posted separately. Second, I did not get everything in writing. I discussed getting the full refund upon cancellation before booking with a driver although the contract states that $90 will be held back, and Jenna assured me that that was not the way they did business and that she would send me a statement to that effect in writing. Of course, I was euphoric in finally choosing someone to ship my cars and trusted that she'd do that so I went ahead with the process and signed. Although I did finally get my $90 refunded, it was not a simple process and the owner, Dan, very clearly and repeatedly stated that was not their policy.

Bottom line, it's not a perfect business, but they do seem to try hard. Jenna and Aubrey were a pleasure on the phone.
