I should have done more research on this company before I contracted them to transport 3 of my vehicles. They are one of the Worst companies I have ever dealt with. Kim said all the right things, until they took my deposit...then the trouble began.
They quoted me $2000 to move 3 vehicles form Oregon to Texas, and needed a $300 deposit to insure the order. The contract said the $300 would not be taken until the truck was dispatched to pick up my cars. The $300 was taken almost immediately on 3/3/09...the cars were to be picked up 3/13/09.
I had not received any information on a driver picking up my vehicles on 3/10/09...this was just 3 days before my cars were to be picked up. I called and they then faxed me the info on a driver that was to pick up my cars. I called the driver the next day 3/11/09 to makes sure everything was set. He said he had no contract to pick up my cars on 3/13/09.
I called AAT and they said, Yes they would be picking up my cars and not to worry, they would call the driver and work it out and then get back to me. They never called me back. I called the next day to find out when my cars would be picked up. They said they were working on it and would have some set up to pick up my cars on 3/13/09. No one picked up my cars on 3/13/09. I called again, and Juan said they would have someone there that afternoon. no one showed up by 3/13/09 Friday evening. I called back and no one answered. I was stuck on Friday night with my Uhaul packed and ready to leave, but no one to pick up my cars. And no one at AAT calling me back all weekend.
I contracted another driver late Saturday 3/14/09 and he was able to pick up my cars very late Saturday night. He could not deliver my cars when I needed them, so I had to rent a trailer and tow one myself.
I was now 2 days late leaving to move from Oregon to Texas, spent 2 extra nights in hotels, rented a trailer, paid extra to extend my Uhaul rental, and used more gas to tow a trailer with my car.
On 3/16/09 someone called to say they were ready to pick up my cars. I had heard nothing form AAT all weekend. I called and asked for a refund of my $300 since they did not pick up my cars as planned. Juan said it would take 3 days. I called again the next week, 3/24/09 after I had gotten settled in Texas. Juan then told me he did not know I wanted my deposit back. He said he would submit it and it would be 3 days again. I called again last week 4/01/09 and Juan said he would look into it again and if I did not see a refund by Monday 4/06/09 to call him. I called again today 4/07/09 and Juan said he tried to refund my VISA on 3/16/09 and 3/24/09. LIAR! He had already told me before that it had not been done.
They are Liars and Crooks...DO NOT USE THEM.
I filed a complaint with the BBB, Florida Attorney General Office and Broward County Sheriff's office today.
They have committed Theft and Fraud, and caused me additional expense!
