good communication, delayed order

When my order hit the board, i thought that all was a done deal. I had some fairly strict requests of the broker, and the first driver that accepted the car reneged when he could not pick up when he wanted to. That was a three-day delay on the fault of the first carrier. All American kept me updated, and tolerated several phone calls from me. The second carrier was on time, informative, understanding, and even had an enclosed container (which I did not request).

Perhaps the most frustrating part of the whole deal was me not being prepared for "offers to haul" above the initial quote. Think that's just part of the deal though. To all searchers: Just be flexible on timing and pricing, and remember that what is a "good deal" to you may not be "revenue generating" to the carrier. Best of luck, Brad.
