I scheduled my 2001 BMW 330i to be transported from NJ to South FL on 08/02/13. I paid my $50.00 deposit to All American Transport. I was given an ETA of 10am-2pm for pick up. When the driver arrived an hour late at 3pm he showed up in an Audi SUV and said he would have to drive the vehicle to the carrier. My vehicle has illegal tints and no insurance. He claims the carrier would not fit down the street where the vehicle was located. I know this to be false considering there have been carriers on that street before. I called Vivian at All American Transport and was told that deposits were usually non refundable if the order was cancelled within 48 hours of scheduled pick up. The only reason I had to cancel my order is because I was not made aware that someone would be required to drive my uninsured vehicle. Should I have been told in advance I would have made arrangements to have the vehicle in a public parking lot with plenty of access. This entire experience today was horrific. It almost seemed as if it was some kind of car theft scheme. I WOULD RATHER SPEND TRIPLE THE MONEY- FLY TO NJ AND DRIVE TO SOUTH FLORIDA!!! I still have to fight with dispatch to get my deposit back. I am beyond disgusted by this company!!
