The contract was signed several weeks prior to pick up for transport from Lake Worth FL to Long Island, NY for $700.00. Many phone calls and emails later and the day prior to the last possible pickup day, I received a call from Vivian telling me that she had found a carrier but the rate would be $775, not $700 as per the contract , and, instead of allowing a credit card payment, she insisted that she charge $75 to my card and that the balance of $700 be paid by cash or certified check to the driver on delivery of my car...all contrary to the contract. As I was stuck with no alternative, I agreed, paid for the certified check, paid to have the check express mailed to NY so it would be there when the car was delivered and later found that the carrier got the $700 and All American pocketed the $75. Rip off? Fraud? You name it, but beware the low ball and bait and switch.
