Frustrating

I gave this two stars because my car did actually arrive in one piece, but otherwise a terrible experience that I never want to repeat.

Firstly, I don't think I realized this company is a BROKER, meaning they take your deposit and try to find someone nearby to transport the car. Since evidently Nevada isn't on the way to anywhere, it took a while. The rest of my frustrations are with whoever they contracted with to take the car.

Supposedly they were dispatched on a Monday to get the car. They said they'd be there Wednesday PM or Thursday AM. They never showed or called and they said it would be Friday...then Saturday...then Sunday. Eventually they showed up Sunday AM, without apology or explanation. It is absolutely unacceptable to have people (who should be at work) sitting around and waiting when they could have called.

They had two drivers and must have driven all day and night, a 5 day drive was completed in 2.5. However, since my neighborhood can't be accessed by giant truck, I had to meet them in another location. They showed up to drop off the car AFTER MIDNIGHT, so I'm standing on a street corner with a wad of cash at 1 in the morning trying to claim my car...unimpressed.

The drivers were pleasant and seemed to know what they were doing. My car arrived without additional scratches or damage. The interior was untouched, nothing stolen or moved.

I am disappointed because I really felt I did my research, I chose a more expensive quote that I thought was reputable. The broker I contracted with never contacted me again and I was assigned someone new when I called to discuss pickup.

Another thought if I ever do this again, I will likely CHOOSE to have my car dropped off and picked up from a central point. Having them pick up from the house was a real pain and would rather do it on MY schedule than theirs.
