We have shipped cars in the past to our home in Florida from Massachusetts with no issues. Unfortunately this year that was not to be. We were very flexible with the pick up date for our car and from the outset All American was easy to deal with. Unfortunately when it came time to ship the car that is when the problems started. The first carrier didn't show up on the day we were told he would. After contacting All American Transport they tracked down the driver and he allegedly had broken down in New Jersey. Would have been nice to get a call so we were not waiting around a whole day for him. The second carrier from All American arrived and then proceeded to try and extort money from us because we had a car cover, a leather coat and a few other small misc items in the trunk. The driver stated that if we did not pay him an extra $150 cash up front then our items would be dumped at the side of the road while it was in transit to Florida. Needless to say we did not allow him to take our car and sent him on his way, we then reported him to All American Transport who assured us they would take care of it. All American sent the third driver, named JACK SOBAN and I highly advise you avoid him at all cost! Jack took a quick glance in and around the car, handed us a paper to sign and away he went. The car arrived in Florida and big surprise the car cover and leather jacket were both missing. Jack claimed that he was driving down the road and the trunk flew open. Strange... I have been driving down the highway in that car for 5 years and the trunk has never just flown open. Coincidence that All American's first driver tried to extort extra money for those two items and then amazingly the second driver they sent claims the trunk flies open during transport and both of those items disappear? All American Transport and Jack Soban refuse to take any responsibility and refuse to compensate us at all for the loss. Extortion and larceny are both illegal in this country and I am sure the judge will not be amused with their tactics when we see them in court.
