Driver damaged my car and tried to cover it up and stole items from the trunk

My 1966 Buick Riviera just won a trophy on the Englishtown (NJ) Car Show on the weekend before it was shipped from New Jersey to California by Aleko Transportation. The broker company I contacted and dealt with is All American Transport. They chose Aleko for the task. I trusted them they would be in partnership with responsible and trustworthy trucking companies.

First of all Alex, the driver was a few hours late with the pickup, but never called to let us know that. Then he never told us that the car and the trunk were supposed to be completely empty, because after arriving to California it was supposed to ship to Hawaii on sea and it is a rule of oceanic shipping. Instead he just told me to empty the inside of the car and he watched as I put everything from there into the trunk. My personal things included the trophy the car earned a few days before and tools etc. He promised he would take car of my baby. I should have trusted my instincts because his eyes told me the opposite. When he filled out the paperwork about the state of which my car was in, he started to mark it as it had a lof of dents and damages/chips already. It was very suspicious for me, because if I signed that, he could damage my car on those places without consequences. I did not sign these marks, but wrote a sentence: there is no damage at all on the car.

My Buick arrived a few days later to the harbor in California than he promised, but it was not the problem. After I picked it up in Hawaii, it was badly damaged on the right side and in the back. The oceanic shipping co. said the damage was done by Aleko. The fact that made me mad was that the damage was painted over with some white paint. My car has a $12000 custom paint job with 9 layers of custom color pearl white paint which is impossible to touch up.

The things (my trophy and tools) were missing from the trunk and I haven't gotten them back yet. They never contacted me since the pickup. I contacted All American Transport about getting my things back and they said Aleko told them they would send them to us, but I never got them.

Not to mention the fact that my car showed sure signs that it was driven before it got shipped. I have white velvet as a part of my interior and there were dirty fingerprints on them and the odometer showed a lot more than before.

I would never ever use this company again and if you come face to face with Alex from Aleko you'll see what I'm talking about.
