NEVER USE FREIGHTCENTER.COM
This is a new review of FrieghtCenter.com as I felt their complete lack of integrity should be made known to all. A Mr. Spankiewicz (if that’s even a real name) informed the review site I was NEVER A CUSTOMER to get my review removed. I do not think they got the result they were looking for. This site asked me to prove a was a customer, I did, and they were awesome. When doing business you have certain expectations. These will NOT be met by Freightcenter.com. Arguably, the company is a shipping broker. They do not have the trucks but “broker” the shipping sale.
An honest company would have attempted to help me resolve my issues on MY behalf as MY broker, much as you’d expect from a realtor. But that is not what happened they blamed the contact (the stores employee) for signing the drivers paperwork instead of theirs. He said (rudely) I TOLD YOU TO HAVE OUR PAPERWORK SIGNED! I guess he forgot I’m in Texas paying for the shipment, the pick up was in Las Vegas. He had all the contact information and had in fact contacted the pick up point managers.

Freightcenter.com should be avoided for any shipping needs. I also recommend avoiding any shipping broker as they all probably play the same game (although admittedly that might not be fair, but I’ll not risk it again.) To John Rogers defense (because I do want to be fair) When the delivering company held the damaged cargo hostage until I paid the additional charges because their drivers tricked the pick up point employee, I got John on the phone, informed him (in front of the driver who was on the phone with his boss) LOUDLY so the guy on the phone could hear it that as everything was destroyed they will get a lawyer letter threatening to sue (so they have to hold the evidence and I would ensure the damaged goods sat in their warehouse for a year, and NEVER pay them. John called the trucking company. They released the cargo, 95% of it went in the dumpster totally destroyed. It was pretty much a total loss and I paid $900 for the privilege of getting screwed.

I tried to get insurance and was jerked around with a website procedure they demanded I use as it gets them completely off the hook.

The game is scandalous; they tell you to ensure the paperwork FROM THEM is used when the items are picked up. The truck driver works for a different company and says “I’ve got all the paperwork filled out just sign here” which costs you approximately 30% more. The person loading my cages has no idea of this and signs the paperwork the truck driver has.

When they delivered my cages it was obvious they hot them HARD with a fork lift. They were so badly screwed up I salvaged 2 of 15. I consider it a total loss. And of course the paperwork was not filled out on the website for insurance so I was screwed.

I really recommend you NOT use Frieghtcenter.com
I wasted $900. TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!
