Well like many others Andy got me. I contracted for $750 to move my truck from NJ to TX. I paid the $200 deposit by credit card. When I was called by Andy to advise he had a truck I asked again total $750 less $200 deposit so pay the driver $550. Andy replied yes give him cash or money order for $550. This was one day before pick up. I had read contract especially item 7a but felt this added charge of up to 10% would not apply. Shame on me. The driver showed up (nice guy) and asked for $610. After talking it over I called Andy. Andy said its $610 read the contract. We can add up to 10% I'm only charging you 8%. After a screaming match I hung up. The $60 won't break me but it's the principal. Just tell me up front your going to add it. In closing the trucking company was great but the broker is low ball artist.
