This service worked out great. Keep realistic expectations. Remember that this company is logistical; linking a customer with a driver. In my opinion, best results come when you have some flexibility in delivery time. That is, if you need the car picked up in 12 hours from the time you place the order and want the car delivered 2700 miles away in 2 days, you will probably be disappointed. I was able to call and tell the dispatcher that I wanted the car picked as soon as possible and delivered no later than 2 weeks from now. The dispatcher will let you know if she can find a driver in that time frame at a stated price.
My experience went smooth. I had my second car delivered from CA to NC. The dispatcher arranged a pick up/drop off with a driver and I paid a small deposit. She gave me the option of paying a little more to book a driver that could take the car right away, or I could wait for her to continue to find a driver at the quoted price. I had agreed to pay the extra for a quicker pick up time which the dispatcher agreed to pay half of. This was much appreciated and the change in price was my choice.
After the car was picked up, I had the cell # and could call the driver (Nick) any time to get an update. Smooth as could be. I ended up paying a total of $925 which could have been cheaper, but I arranged to pay the driver a little more in order to add some extra weight in the car (boxes of stuff).
