After searching through several transport companies I decided to give my business to "Above the Rest". I dealt with Bruce who walked me through the entire process and explained to me that he was a "broker" and not the actual transport company. After understanding his position I checked him out with the BBB which gave him an excellent rating report. The original quote was a total of $600.00.....$100.00 for Bruce, paid at the time I booked this pick-up and $500.00 when my father-in-laws Pontiac Minivan was delivered. Bruce explained to me how this broker system worked and I authorized him to go as high as $600.00 to the driver, if need be. ( I had received bids for up to $1,100 for this move. Well, it ended up costing me a total of $700.00 when it was all overwith, still a hefty amount less than other carriers / brokers. Bottom line is that Bruce was honest and upfront with me and it was obvious he knew what he was talking about. The vehicle was picked up on the 1st day of availability and it was delivered to me on time, without any damage or problems. After a good washing the vehicle was as good as it was when it was picked up. I would recommend Bruce at Above the Rest Auto Transport for getting the job done. Keep in mind however that your satisfaction is only as good as the "actual" driver that will transport your car. That being said, I am certain that should a problem arise, which is out of the control of Above the Rest, that Bruce will resolve the problem to your satisfaction.
