Aloha,
This is the first time that I have ever posted a review, good or bad I have normally not bothered to voice my opinion; this time I have had no choice.
I choose “Above the rest” transport company to move my Jaguar from Florida to Hawaii because the lady on the other end of the phone “Cheri” sounded knowledgeable and nice, A good honest Christian woman………………..or so I thought. Boy was I miserably wrong!
First off she told me that after signing the contract she would have a transporter pick up my Jaguar within 3-5 days. That didn’t happen. Here I am expecting my car to be on the ship leaving San Diego for Hawaii, imagine my surprise when the shipping company calls to ask where my car was. It gets much worse. The car ended up missing 3 sailings!
After I bitterly complained Cheri emailed asking for another $200 as she had under quoted and promised that if I paid the extra $200 she would have a driver pick up the car within 3 days ( I can substantiate all of this with the emails she sent) What else could I do but pay the money….They had my car plus the deposit! By the way the contract states in big letters “unlike other company’s we will never charge you extra or hidden costs”.
OK, it gets worse. Finally when my car arrived last week the Key and remote were missing (Jaguar charge $240 plus $120 to program the remote) the back white leather seats were covered in black oily hand marks and the right passenger side of the car was scratched from trunk to hood. All of this on a car that they picked up spotlessly clean from the dealer in Florida!!!
OK it’s still gets worse. Cheri and above the rest have not answered my emails (3) or got back to my phone messages…………..Amazing how when one wants a quote there is always someone on the other end of the phone line; but when one try's to make a complaint no one answers the phone only an answering machine!
Guess it’s now time for the attorneys to sort this mess out. Please save yourself the headaches and do not get “Above the rest” to quote for your car transportation.

When we spoke to the transporter of this vehicle we were told that there were scratches on the vehicle when it was picked up. The dealer that the driver picked up the vehicle from signed the inspection sheet showing the damage. As for the missing key there was only one according to the driver. An email was sent to the customer with the bill of lading showing the damage and the amount collected by the driver. As for not responding to emails and phone calls the employee who handled the order is no longer employed with us.The first we heard of this was 1 day ago. We totally disagree with this review as we take our customer care very seriously.
