Over Promised Under Delivered

I was very disappointed with Able Auto as the over promised and under delivered. This was the first time I have ever had to ship a vehicle, so I was relying heavily on customer service to explain what to expect. I had called them a couple of month in advance to ask when I needed to schedule the pick up. They explained that when I was ready to call them and they would have a carrier within 1 to 5 days. Therefore, I planned everything based on this time frame, which ended up being a bad mistake. Once I called Able Auto, they took my reservation and my deposit explaining I should hear from them with a few days. After several days of not hearing from them I called customer service only to hear that they were having a hard time finding a carrier in my region and they had a couple of days before the 5 day window ran out. When I called them a couple of days later, since I had not heard and it was past 5 days their customer service person said she would e-mail Friday night. I never got an e-mail, so I e-mailed Sales Support who wrote me back and again said they were having a hard time finding a carrier because most vehicle were going to the North East from Florida. The Sales Support person said in her e-mail she would call me personally Monday to talk with me and give me a status. To no surprise I didn't receive a call back - therefore I cancelled my reservation and found another company who found a carrier within 72 hours of booking with them. Thank goodness Able Auto refunded my money since they couldn't find a carrier. To everyone out there.. Do your research, check the BBB and search for reviews on any transport company you are looking to use.
