Damaged vehicle, no response on claim

Car was to be shipped from Calgary to Toronto. Was called to advise that car was ready for pickup, followed by an "oops" email that it wasn't my car. I live 70 kms away! Didn't call me when it finally arrived. Went to pick up car, front fascia under bumper was completely ripped off. Car had been documented as "checked out" and "returned" 7 days before I picked it up. Damage claim forms were sent to me which I filled out and faxed back. Heard no response, emailed them. They denied receiving the form & advised me that I only had a week to file the claim and now it was too late. Have stopped returning emails. When I asked how they managed to not notice the front end damage or where my car was in the missing days, they refused to respond.
