Arranged to have my van shipped by a broker and was assigned ABC auto. My van was scheduled to arrive Thurs.8/29 called that morning to find out when to expect it was told I would be called back in 20mins, called 3hrs later after no return call & was told the same, she would call me back in 20 mins. I then called the broker to get them on the line, they called & were told the same thing, she would call back in 10mins. The broker said no no the customer was already told that & she then found out their truck broke down near Chicago & delivery would not be until after the Labor Day weekend. They said I would get my van the following weds. I asked to have a manager call me back & left messages, all with no call back. When I did get a body on the phone I asked if they could cut be a break on the shipping price being it was going to be a week late. The manager Joe is horrible, defensive & rude. He said he wouldn't deliver my van, then said I would have to wire him the $700 for them to deliver at which point I let him know I never signed an agreement to wire funds if they fail to deliver & He makes up his own rules, is a crook & not willing to work with you. This company has no moral integrity! They wrote an email to the broker saying they tried to deliver my car & I refused. They never delivered my van, they called & asked if I would be paying the full amount I said would take it if they cut me a break for $600. She said Joe would not do that. They then said my car would be held in storage & it would cost another $250 for re-delivery. This company has horrible customer service, they lie & don't care about their customers what so ever! They didn't even call to let customers know their truck broke down & offered no apologies for it or their bad customer service. I've resorted to not paying them for my van luckily it's old & beat up & not worth the value or nightmare. I simply said I'll take it up in court. I just didn't trust them to deliver at all in the end. If the manager is that way who knows what his employees & drivers are like.
