My experience with having a vehicle transported is new. I was very optimistic due to me purchasing a car online from a dealership across the country. I found a link that sent my information to multiple transport companies. This method will allow you to have several options, but it can be annoying as well. They are relentless when it comes to getting your business.
The nature of getting a transport carrier usually goes through a broker (logistic). They will find you a transporter which is a different entity than the broker. Once they find transport, the broker job is finished. They all promise that they have a truck waiting in which they don’t, their maybe trucks in the general area. They still have to contact the carrier and negotiate a price. My vehicle was located on a non-thorough route for truckers.
After I had selected a broker (AAA Transporters) out of Miami, they had a hard time finding transport for the price they quoted me. After two weeks of searching they were able to find transport for my vehicle, but that came with an increase in cost (which at that point, I was fine with the extra cost). They were able to find a carrier with an enclosed trailer.
The transport company (RF Transportation Inc.) never contacted me. I had to call them to get any information. When they pick up my vehicle, I had to call the dealership to find out if my vehicle had gotten picked up. There was a winter blizzard that created all types of delays and still I never heard from the transport company. I sent several emails with no response from the RF Transportation Inc. RF Transportation communications (customer service) was nonexistence.
Pros: The vehicle was delivered in the same condition as it was when they picked it up. My vehicle was transporter in an enclosed trailer.

There was a winter blizzard that created all types of delays and still I never heard from the transport company.- - - Written by the customer My vehicle was transporter in an enclosed trailer. - -Written by the customer. So- Historical blizzard and cheap price get your vehicle shipped at 1st class enclosed cargo yet you don't give us a 5 star review and a standing ovation. AAA Transporters is sorry we couldn't pull your vehicle by dog sled - AAA Transporters is sorry that your vehicle wasn't happy with the 1st class reclining seats, champagne and caviar white glove treatment that your car received saving over $700 off enclosed pricing but we appreciate your right as a consumer to feel unhappy about the process. We will continue to do our best and strive for 100% satisfaction in the future. This review has been an eye opener and helped us adjust our policy of avoiding bookings 2 weeks prior to a storm and 2 weeks post a storm. Thank you for helping AAA Transporters adjust their business model and provide a more reliable, communicative, timely process.
