The broker I used was the 3rd company I had dealt with over an 8 week period, and the only company that was successful in getting my car on the move. A Plus Auto Shippers was the actual carrier to move my car.

Now, I know that there are a couple negative reviews of this company, most of which I have read, quite a few of which I find to be absurd and probably unrepresentative of the actual circumstances. That said, I did not choose A Plus Auto Shippers to ship my car, my broker did. I only stumbled upon the reviews after my car was already on its way. Initially I was worried, but like I said, most of the reviews were petty and ridiculous, and I can hardly believe the lengths at which people will go these days to kick up a fuss, especially parents and their children.

Anyway, reviews aside, I had no choice in the decision but to trust that the company contracted would do their job, and get my car to me when promised. Even if they didn't, I had a contract providing me with a rental car in the event that the car was not delivered on time. One of the benefits of having a written contract, bill of landing, and all the contact numbers I could ever need.

My car left California on a Monday afternoon, though it was supposed to be picked up Monday morning. Like I said, it was late getting picked up, but not by much, and it was of no consequence. My car went to the central hub in Arizona where it was put on a different truck.

It was scheduled to arrive the following week on a Wednesday. With storms going through the exact routes that the carrier would be traveling, I was preparing to have my car delayed. I was pleasantly surprised, however. On Thursday night, only 3 days after being picked up, I received a call from a VERY FRIENDLY truck driver named Mike. He let me know that he would be in Kentucky in the morning.

Keeping to his word, the truck driver called in the morning and said he was 30 minutes away. We met at a parking lot large enough for his truck, I paid the driver in the contract stipulated cash (it's common, not shady), he signed off on the payment, and quickly got to unloading the car. He was super friendly, and could tell that I was excited to have my car.

He was very careful and courteous, and even got the car started so it wasn't so cold when I jumped in. I inspected the vehicle with nothing to report, signed the paperwork, got my copy, and thanked the driver. He told me that he left Arizona on Wednesday, meaning he made it to Kentucky in 2.5 days! He wanted to get his vehicles unloaded before the storm caught up to him, in order to avoid any potential for damage to the 8 vehicles he was carrying.

I am glad he made it that far, that fast, and safely. Mike was an excellent driver, very kind, and I could not be more pleased with the service. Hopefully this continues and A Plus Auto Shippers can get the positive notice they seem to deserve.

Thank you A Plus Auto Shippers, and Mike! Excellent job!
