Still waiting!

My car is a day late and still waiting at the port for the truck! I paid in advance! When will I get my car? Will the customer service person ever realize that I am the customer and treat me with some respect?

I coordinated for shipment of my vehicle with Rich. He was very sales oriented and convinced me that there would be no issues and that my vehicle would be in Tucson on 27 June. This would enable me to pick up my vehicle and continue my trip as I am moving with my family to New York.

On 11 June I delivered my vehicle to Horizon lines in Honolulu. Horizon is the shipping company used by AAA anytime for the over seas portion of my shipment. My vehicle arrived in Los Angeles on 26 June. It has been ready for pick up since that date.

On the afternoon of 27 June I contacted customer service to find out the status of my vehicle. I was told I would receive a call from a trucking company within a few hours to coordinate for drop off of my vehicle. I never received a call.

Today, 28 June, I contacted customer service at 9 AM and was told that my vehicle was on a truck somewhere between California and Tucson. I should be receiving a call soon. I called again at 10 AM and was actually hung up on. A little frustrating. All I wanted to know was where my car was. I called again, hoping to get someone else on the phone. No luck. Phil, the person who hung up on me answered again. He told me that my car was on a truck and the driver would be contacting me soon.

I called Horizon lines at 11 AM. My vehicle was still at the port waiting for pick up. I again called AAA anytime and informed them that my vehicle was at the port. Phil tried to convince me that I was being lied to by Horizon and that my car was on a truck.

At 3:30 PM I contacted Horizon lines to se if my vehicle had been picked up. It hasn't.

My car is a day late and is still sitting at a port in California!
