I found aa-automovers through the carmovers website. I didn't realize they were brokers and not transporters. The price they quoted wasn't cheap but seemed reasonable. Bob Fulleman was very insistent on having me sign a contract. I explained to him that I had a 2 day time period in which the car could be picked up, he said this was not a problem and it was specified in the contract prior to me signing it. The same day I signed the contract I got a notification from AA-Automovers telling me that my car was going to be picked up earlier than my requested date. I called Bob and he asked me to wait a couple of hours and then call costumer service. Calls to costumer service went straight to voice mail. I tried calling Bob but now his calls went to voice mail. I called other people at AA-Automovers and one agent (George), just put me on permanent hold, and a less than friendly woman, (the receptionist I think), told me that just because I requested a pick up date, that didn't mean that my car was going to be picked up on that date. I left my phone number with the costumer service line and someone did contact me, however she was no help. Her suggestion was for me to call the truck company they hired to see if the could be flexible. They failed to honor their word to meet a pick up date and now I had to fix it. I have had to deal with delays and re-schedules and missing truck drivers for the last two weeks and my car has not yet been delivered (8 days since pick up). Once AA-automovers has your money, you are on your own if anything goes bad.

Mr. Pardo has twisted the facts. Our Terms and our website make it clear that we are a broker. Mr. Pardo authorized a pickup window of on or between 5/17 – 5/21. We assigned a carrier for pickup 5/17 – 5/18. We advised that he speak directly with the carrier who could more accurately determine if they could pickup at a later date. Mr. Pardo’s vehicle is going from northern CA to southern FL – a 10-15 day trip. We did not fail to honor the pickup window. We do not leave customers on their own – we provide customers with assistance when it makes sense to do so and we recommend they work directly with their carrier when that course is more efficient. We are not aware of any delays other than the one the customer requested himself. Our Terms and instructions are provided in hard copy for every customer prior to booking an order. They are also available on our website.
