It is frustrating to deal with a company that promotes itself as being so wonderful. I can tell you that my recent experience in no way reflects the claims it makes. "We don't ask for upfront money" wrong as they ask for a deposit right up front. Then the contract says that the quote you got may not be the real cost. Maybe $50 - $100 more could be required depending on circumstances that may arise. When the time came to pick up they tried to bump the price $200. This was because supposedly "nobody wanted to take cars to Alabama". To my dismay when I meet the driver I was told that they felt lucky to get my car as it was going to a location within a 100 miles of their home base. And finally the lack of communication sucks, well except when they want to collect their money, On the morning my car was to be picked up I was told that the driver (A&J Transport) would be calling me to coordinate the pick up that afternoon. Well not only didn't the driver call he didn't show! Calling A1A is a waste of time as they close long before the end of business out West, you are screwed. If you have a problem there is no way to get any help! If you are shipping out west i would recommend you use a Western US agency that can provide some level of assistance. Never again!
