Like many of the posters here I found this website only after I had placed my order. I see that many of A1's responses have called other posters liars. They may or may not be but I can tell you that thier posts are absolutely consistent with my experience.

I placed my order on 12/15 and was told 10-12 days for delivery. After about a week of no pickup I was told by the dealer that they would be shut down between Christamas and New Years. I told A1 this and they said they would pick up the car before the shut down. They did not. The car was finally picked up and brought to a terminal in Houston on January 3rd or 4th. There the car sat until February 11th. The car was only delivered after I called A1 to cancel the order (after threatening to do this for the previous 3 weeks and being told each time that I would have the car in a few days). A1 DID NOT DELIVER THE CAR. They subcontracted the move to the shipping company operated by the terminal owners (CSI 713-451-1515) After they sub'd it to CSI I had the car in about a week.

During the TWO MONTHS I waited for my car A1's customer service was useless, alternating between rude, patronizing, and repeatedly making committmenets they did not keep. Generally it took 2-3 days to get through to anyone who would answer my questions, and the only time anyone ever returned my calls when they said they would was the day I told them I was going to cancel the order. I was told they would charge me $205 for the cancelation ($85 terminal fee, which they actually do incur, and $125 cancel fee, which they do nothing to earn in my opinion)

Folks, I have shipped vehicles on 3 other occasions using two different companies. All times were reasonably good experiences with ship times ranging from 3 weeks from Florida to Connecticut, to less than one week from Missouri to Connecticut. This was a totally unacceptable experience and I would never recommend using this company to anyone. If you have the unfortunate circumstance of having already placed an order with them and you are having trouble ask to speak to Zack and see if he can sub out your order to another carrier who can get it done. Do not accept the "you will have it next week" story. I heard that every week for 4 weeks and they never came through. Unfortunately the only time I was taken seriously by A1 was the day I told them I was cancelling my order and there was nothing they could do to change my mind.

The good news was that after sub'ing the transport to CSI the car was delivered quickly and the service I got from them was excellent. If you need to move a car out of Houston call them directly at (713) 451-1515 and ask for Chris or Kevin. They are decent and professional. Their driver was a great guy, professional and courteous. I will call them directly for my next transport and am recommending them to all my friends. See them on the web at www.csiautotransport.com.

A1 can rebut this with any excuses they want to, but the facts are simple: They took my money and couldn't deliver my car in two months until they hired someone else to do it. Just don't use them.
