I consulted this site prior to the move and was originally put off by the low rating of A1. I contracted with a highly rated company who said my vehicle would be picked up within 5 days. On the 5th day after hearing nothing I contacted them and they said they would do their best to get a pickup the following day. The pickup location was about 30 minutes from San Jose, not necessarily a remote location. On the 6th day, I canceled that other company.

I selected A1 because they had a terminal near my old home and my new home so I chose to drop off and pick up. My reasoning was that terminals would have trucks coming and going very frequently and the delivery would be very quick. The salesperson reinforced that notion of mine however we were both wrong. I dropped off and the Suburban at the terminal but it sat there for 10 days or so before it left.

Here is the end result. My Suburban arrived in excellent condition and was picked up at the contracted price without incident. It appeared they washed it as it seemed too clean for having made a cross-country trip. The time from drop off to arrival at destination terminal was about 3 weeks. We did consult the tracking web site mid way through the experience and it indicated that my truck was in Mexico, which seems odd or wrong, however the site showed an estimated arrival sate of Feb 7th and that was exactly when it arrived.

If you want to be frightened, read the contract. I read it and then decided to roll the dice. I would use this company again especially if I could be without the vehicle for several weeks and not have any promise of delivery date.
