After looking on the Internet for days, trying to find an honest and reliable transport company (and quickly being frightened off by what were apparently a number phony bids), I received a bid by email from A to Z, which included an L.A. Better Business rating. So I began to carefully look at their recommendations and checked the BB Web site to see if they looked legit. And they did.
So I gave them call and began the process of arranging to have a 1994 S-10 pickup shipped from Michigan to northern California. A to Z promptly arranged for the transport and set a date within a few days. I'd made a couple of consecutive errors on my contract application, and Samantha very graciously took care of each one without complaint or delay. And she answered my many uncertainties and questions quickly- usually within a few hours, or certainly by the next day.
Soon the truck was on its way, and 'magically' appeared seven days later on my daughter's doorstep, safe and sound! Thank you A to Z! And especially thanks to Samantha for handling all my questions with grace and patience; and to Lola, who managed my inquiries about the delivery time, promptly and courteously. Also, a big thank you to Daniel, the transport driver, and his companion at Balkan Express, who made the whole process of pickup and delivery "personally interactive" - in a good way, and put my wife and me at ease about surrendering our truck to "strangers," literally, "in the night." They left us smiling with admiration as they headed out onto Interstate 94, with the truck horn bellowing a farewell!
So, I must say, what was initially a very difficult decision about who to trust to ship the truck proved to have be made correctly by contracting with this company. They've certainly shown themselves to be trustworthy and reliable. I was much impressed with their responsiveness- they were there when I needed to hear from them. And with the quality of the carrier that was chosen for shipment. My question about its progress, and an estimated ETA after it had been gone a few days, was quickly answered, and delivery was made promptly, on schedule, as promised, and with the truck in good shape upon arrival.
So, again, thanks to A to Z for humanizing the process, and for prompt and reliable shipment. It would be wonderful if all the companies we had to deal with would do business with the same customer-centered, caring attitude. (Samantha, I'd suggest you might want to consider changing the "A" in A to Z, to an "A+"! )

anyone looking for trustworthy, reliable, and efficient transport of their
vehicle.
